London Broncos 18 Hull FC 18 DANNY TICKLE held his nerve in the dying seconds to convert a late try as Hull overturned a 12-point deficit.

Broncos looked good for the win after tries by Tommy Lee, Kieran Dixon and Matt Cook, and three goals from Michael Witt, had put them 18-6 up with slightly more than 20 minutes left.

But Hull fought back with tries from Joe Westerman and Richard Horne that were converted by Tickle.

The first points went on the board in the 24th minute when Lee shrugged off three challenges to touch down.

Ben Galea hit back for Hull within eight minutes when he latched on to a grubber kick and scored. And five minutes later, superb skills from Dixon re-established Broncos' lead. But, crucially, Michael Witt failed to convert.

Two further efforts from Witt's boot, which sandwiched a Cook try, appeared to have won the points for the London side - but Tickle's aim was true and his conversion of Horne's try at the death levelled the scores.
