HUD ANNOUNCES HOMEOWNERSHIP PLANNING GRANTS, MONDAY JULY 13, FOR PUBLIC

HOUSING FAMILIES; SUPPORTS SPECIAL MASTER'S TEN-POINT PLAN FOR PHA
 The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will announce planning grant awards under Sec. Jack Kemp's HOPE Program for public housing homeownership on Monday, July 13, at 3 p.m.
 These planning grants are targeted at three of the HUD Special Master's PHA Ten-Point Action Plan; specifically, site-based management, resident services, and alternative property management.
 The announcement will be Monday, July 13 at 3 p.m. at Queen Lane I & II Public Housing Community, 5300 Alfred St. (between Penn and Coulter streets, and Pulaski and Morris streets), Philadelphia.
 Directions from Center City:
 Schuylkill Expressway to Roosevelt Boulevard to Wissahickon Exit. Take Wissahickon Avenue to fourth traffic light, Queen Lane. Make a right on Queen Lane to Alfred Street.
