Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) expands its footprint in Oman following the outstanding success of its highly anticipated Huawei Mate 20 Series, which sold out within two weeks of its release; the opening of its first ever brand showroom in Qurm City Center as well as the opening of eight new dedicated brand zones within leading electronics chains and 20 brand zones in independent electronics stores, representing a fourfold year-on-year increase.

Huawei inched closer to the top as the leading vendor of smartphones in the world in Q3 2018, after its second consecutive quarter as the number two vendor, according to data from the International Data Corporation's Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker.

In addition to the release of Huawei Mate 20 series, Huawei has driven its expansion with a focus on enhancing customer experience and after-sales service. Huawei has grown its visibility since 2017 with the increased number of dedicated brand stores within Oman's leading electronic chains and other authorized dealers. Furthermore, Huawei, which is renowned for its world-class after-sales service is renovating the sales center in Al Meera Hypermarket, Azaiba.

Innovative features including a revolutionary matrix camera system featuring the world's first Leica triple camera with ultra-wide angle lens, a long-lasting battery and the ground-breaking reverse charging feature, have made Huawei Mate 20 series a game-changer in smartphone evolution. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro 6GB + 128 GB is available in Emerald Green, Jet Black and Twilight colours, for the price of RO345.9. The Huawei Mate 20 6GB+128GB is available in Midnight Blue, Jet Black and Twilight, for the price of RO261.9. The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 20 RS will be available soon.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is equipped with a Leica Triple Camera featuring 40MP main camera, a 20MP ultra wide-angle camera and an 8MP telephoto camera. Together, the trio of lenses supports a wide range of focal lengths enabling it to mimic the results from professional cameras.

The new camera system also supports macro distance, which produces crisp images of objects that are laces as closed as 2.5 cm from the lens. The Huawei Mate 20 Series also features an AI Portrait Colour video mode. Using AI, the Huawei Mate 20 Series can isolate human subjects and desaturate the colours around them to dramatically highlight the person.

AI Spotlight Reel identifies clips with a shared theme and auto-generates a montage made entirely of highlights.

Besides superb performance, the Huawei Mate 20 Series also features groundbreaking improvement on battery life. It supports 40W Huawei SuperCharge, which gives the device 70 per cent charge in 30 minutes. The safety of the technology is certified by TUV Rheinland.
