HSBC (LSE: HSBA) has announced that it has appointed Jeff Bennett as head of Leveraged and Acquisition Finance, Asia Pacific.

The appointment is effective with immediate effect and Bennett would report functionally to Kevin Adeson, global head of Leveraged and Acquisition Finance, and locally to Frank Slevin, head of Global Banking, Asia Pacific.

Kevin Adeson said, 'Jeff's appointment demonstrates the strategic importance and our continuing commitment to our acquisition finance platform in Asia.'
