HRC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION - ANDES PROJECT LAGUNA VERDE GOLD PROPERTY EXPLORATION CREW MOBILIZED.
The Laguna Verde Gold Property is comprised of approximately one- third, 360 square miles of the 1,200 square mile Andes Project land holdings and includes the Nordin Gold Porphyry discovery, a potential multi-million ounce gold deposit. Trenching at the Nordin discovery has exposed gold mineralization grading 0.01 to 0.04 oz/ton gold over a distance of 1,000 feet in trenches with soil and bedrock geochemistry indicating a further extension of 1,600 feet and up to 1,100 feet wide. The Nordin discovery is similar in style and dimension to the Verde East and West zones of the 5.6 million ounce Refugio gold deposit which lies 25 miles to the west and is currently being developed by Bema and Cyprus-Amax.
As operator of the project, HRC will focus exploration efforts on further definition of the gold system at the Nordin Gold Porphyry. This will primarily involve a systematic reverse circulation drill program to test the surface mineralization identified to date. Further geochemical and geophysical surveys will be carried out to expand the known 4.5 mile long trend of surface mineralization. In addition, regional exploration, including geological mapping, rock and soil sampling will be carried out at other prospective multi- million ounce gold targets within the Laguna Verde Property.
