HOW TO GET THERE AND WHAT TO SEE Your guide to Denbigh & Flint show.
This year's agricultural show, held on Thursday August 20 at the Green in Denbigh, will see a number of hands-on classes, attractions, exhibitors and traders at the one-day event.
There's a number of things not to be missed alongside the usual livestock events and competitions, including a food festival with cookery demonstrations, vintage machines, classic cars and show jumping events.

How to get to the Denbigh and Flint Show 2015 The showground is easily accessible from the M6, M56 and A55 and is signposted from the main A55 exit.
Address and Sat Nav: The Green, Denbigh, LL16 4UB By Bus: Routes 14 & X14 (Mold-Denbigh) to the Main Gate Route X50 (Wrexham-Ruthin-Denbigh- Rhyl); Route 51 (Rhyl-Corwen); Route 52 Rhyl-Denbigh-Ruthin).

Free Shuttle Bus: There is a free shuttle bus from Denbigh running from 9am until 12pm then returning between 4.30pm and 6.30pm. The route is via Lenten Pool, High Street, Vale Street (Lidl), Trewen, Myddleton Park, High School, Colomendy.
Please Note: The free shuttle will be offered on a strictly first come basis and run only within times noted. If the last shuttle is full, the Society or its designated carrier will not be responsible for returning passengers.
History of the Denbigh and Flint Show 2015 For many years, the show has traveled all over both North Wales counties, settling for a long period on the edge of Rhyl before moving to the existing site at the Green, Denbigh in 1990.
Since it's first year at the venue, the show has evolved into the easy to follow site that visitors experience today to provide an eclectic mix of agricultural competitions and attractions suitable for all the family.
Main Attractions of the Denbigh and Flint Show 2015 The Livestock area will see cattle, sheep and pigs of all types being shown and judged by top quality finest stock-men and women while if you wander a little further you will see magnificent shire horses.
In the Light Horse area there are nine different rings to watch a feast of horsemanship while the Vintage section has a number of classic cars, tractors, engines and machinery from a bygone age of farming to admire.
The Fur and Feather section will show a huge variety of hens, ducks, pigeons and rabbits - and gives children the chance to show their favourite pets too.
Cross over to the Countryside section and watch the skill of the pole lathe turner and the grace of the side saddle demonstration or learn the correct way to handle an air-rifle and speak to the experts in a conservation and country stewardship.
The showground also has over 200 stands at the Show, providing shopping and gifts for everyone and including a Food Hall with cookery demonstrations or amaze at the Floral Art and Horticulture section.
The Main Ring has a number of attractions throughout the day including the Imps Motorcycle Display Team, Cheshire Dog Display Team or Chariots of Fire Carriage Team or check out the Funfair and enjoy some of fast and furious rides for the brave, or something a little more sedate for the less adventurous.
