HOW SUPER LEAGUE PLAY-OFFS WORK.
In the Qualifying Play Off One game, first place will play at home to the team that finishes fourth.
In the Qualifying Play Off Two game, second place will play the team that finishes third.
The other two matches are elimination games, where the loser has no second chance.
The team finishing fifth will have a home game against the team in eighth spot and the team finishing sixth will play the seventh-placed team and have the luxury of playing at home.
The second week of the play-off series will see two games taking place.
Loser of the 1 v 4 clash in week one will host the winner of the 5 v 8 game, while the loser of the 2 v 3 contest will be at home to the winner of 6 v 7 to conclude the weekend. The losers of these two games are out.
Week three of the play-offs features a game between the highest-placed winner in week one having the opportunity to choose their opponents in the 'Clubcall' to determine the semi-final line-up.
The semi-final winners will then play at Old Trafford on Saturday, October 2 to battle it out one last time in the Engage Super League Grand Final, where the winners will be crowned the champions of 2010.
