HOTEL GROUNDBREAKING OCT. 11, AT GRAND CASINO HINCKLEY; FIRST HOTEL ADJACENT TO CASINO PROPERTY WILL BE FIRST-CLASS

 HINCKLEY, Minn., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The first hotel to be built adjacent to The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe's Grand Casino Hinckley will begin construction Monday, Oct. 11, 1993, at noon. The first shovels full of dirt will be ceremoniously dug and tossed by officials of The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Indians; Grand Casino Hinckley; Grand Casinos, Inc.; and Casino Resource Corporation, builders and managers of the successful Grand Casino RV Resort (owned by the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe) and which is also adjacent to the casino and the new hotel site. A name for the new hotel is yet to be chosen.
 The 154-room, first-class hotel, will include 16 suites with Jacuzzi tubs, 138 King- and Queen-sized bedrooms, along with a huge indoor pool complex which will also house saunas, whirlpools and a game room. Other upscale features will include a library, as well as a meeting room with an outdoor veranda.
 The new hotel will be located on 7-1/2 acres at the main entrance to Grand Casino Hinckley, between the RV Resort and the casino itself, and is targeted for completion March 31, 1994, by contractor Kraus-Anderson. The owner-operator of the hotel will be Casino Resource Corporation, whose primary offices are located at 850 North Wisconsin Street, Elkhorn, Wis. 53121. Casino Resource Corporation is a Minnesota corporation traded on the NASDAQ (symbols CSNR and CSNRW).
