HOST OFFERS 'TOO COOL' VALUES AT AIRPORTS THIS SUMMER
 WASHINGTON, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Discount airfares aren't the

only travel bargains travelers will find at airports this summer. Host International, the nation's leading airport concessionaire, is offering a variety of "hot summer values" at its food, beverage and merchandise operations at 47 airports nationwide.
The promotion, called "Too Cool Summer," runs from June 15 through Sept. 11. It features value-priced deals on Pizza Hut Personal Pan Pizza, Nathan's Famous hot dogs, Taco Bell tacos, Mrs. Fields Cookies, TCBY Sundettes, Cinnabon, Dunkin' Donuts, Burger King combo meals and much more. Host is also serving three fun summer specialty drinks at its Premium Stock bars.
"The airlines' bargain air fares have done a terrific job of getting people excited about traveling this summer. We want to build on that excitement by giving travelers even more bargains when they arrive at the airport," said Robert M. Dorfman, president of Host International. "By creating promotions such as 'Too Cool Summer,' we hope to give our customers more value for their money."
Keeping with the promotion's theme, all Host facilities will offer special "Too Cool Summer" sunglasses for $2 with any purchase. The sunglasses, which sell for $4.95 without purchase, are available in an assortment of bright neon colors and come with matching guards.
Host's summer values will have particular appeal to families and people traveling together, with most facilities offering a "buy one and get the second at a discount" deal. Some of the values include a second hot dog for $1 at Host snack bars and Nathan's Famous. TCBY is featuring "Sundettes" a small sundae with your choice of topping, for $1.99. Mrs. Fields and Dunkin' Donuts are offering a free cookie or donut with the purchase of three at regular price. Taco Bell and Burger King are promoting value-priced combo meals.
Parents traveling with children 10 years of age or younger can take advantage of a "Too Cool Summer" kid's menu at Host cafeterias. The menu features a choice of sandwich/entree, fries, and small beverage for $1.99. Some Host cafeterias are offering a "kids eat free" deal, allowing kids to order from a special kids menu when an accompanying adult orders a meal from the regular menu.
Host's retail shops are offering a wide selection of souvenirs and seasonal merchandise that are value-priced, as well as T-shirts, sweat shirts, gifts and other merchandise grouped together at two for $5, $10 or $20. Merchandise offers vary between facilities.
Each "Too Cool Summer" offer will be promoted at individual facilities with posters, menu signs, promotional danglers and employee buttons.
A subsidiary of Marriott Corporation (NYSE: MHS), Host International is the nation's leading provider of airport food, beverage and merchandise. It has operations at 47 domestic and three international airports.
