GOOGLING A RUNNER Galata Bridge 6.00 Kempton The Galata Bridge spans the Golden Horn estuary in Istanbul, Turkey, which connects with the Bosphurus Strait and the Sea of Marmara. The first bridge at the site was constructed in 1502 and the current bridge, which was completed in 1994, is the fifth version. Totalling 490 metres in length, the Galata Bridge has three vehicle lanes and one pedestrian walkway in each direction. This Cheveley Park-owned two-year-old newcomer is therefore fittingly named, being by Derby and Arc winner Golden Horn.
