 HONEYWELL NAMES SKINNER VICE PRESIDENT OF CORPORATE TAX
 MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today


announced the appointment of John T. Skinner vice president of corporate tax, effective immediately. Skinner most recently was a tax partner with Deloitte & Touche, Chicago.
 At Honeywell, Skinner will be responsible for worldwide taxes. He will report to David W. Devonshire, Honeywell's vice president, finance.
 "We are delighted to have John join Honeywell," Devonshire said. "His 15-plus years of experience in domestic and international tax planning, acquisition and management will serve us well in meeting the future needs of our global business."
 Skinner, 43, joined Deloitte & Touche in 1986, where he served as a tax consultant to a variety of public and private companies. Before joining Deloitte & Touche, he was director of taxes for American Hospital Supply Corp. in Evanston, Ill.
 Skinner earned a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and a law degree from Temple University School of Law. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar and is a certified public accountant.
 Honeywell is a global controls company that provides products, systems and services for homes and buildings, industry, and aviation and space. The company employs 58,000 people worldwide and had 1991 sales of $6.2 billion.
