 HONEYWELL NAMES GRAYSON VICE PRESIDENT, GENERAL COUNSEL
 MINNEAPOLIS, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today


announced the appointment of Edward D. Grayson vice president and general counsel. He begins his duties April 1.
 Grayson joins Honeywell after an 18-year career with Wang Laboratories, Lowell, Mass. Most recently, Grayson was Wang's senior vice president, general counsel, corporate secretary and clerk.
 At Honeywell, Grayson will be responsible for all legal affairs of the corporation. He will report to Christopher J. Steffen, Honeywell's executive vice president and chief financial and administrative officer.
 "We are delighted to have Ed join Honeywell," Steffen said. "He possesses the leadership skills, legal knowledge and expertise required to make a valuable contribution to our organization."
 Grayson, 53, earned bachelor's and law degrees from Iowa University. He served as a U.S. Air Force captain and was a litigation attorney for the Boston legal firm of Goodwin, Proctor and Hoar before joining Wang in 1972.
 Grayson will be located at Honeywell's world headquarters in Minneapolis. He succeeds David R. Bergerson, who left the company.
 Honeywell is a global controls company that provides products, systems and services for homes and buildings, industry, and aviation and space. The company employs 58,000 people worldwide and had 1991 sales of $6.2 billion.
