HONEYWELL ANNOUNCES 8 PERCENT DIVIDEND INCREASE

 MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Honeywell Inc. (NYSE: HON) today announced an 8 percent increase in the company's quarterly dividend to 24 cents per share. This increase raises the annualized dividend rate to 96 cents from 89 cents per share. The dividend declared today is payable Dec. 13, 1993, to shareholders of record at the close of business Nov. 26, 1993.
 "This dividend increase demonstrates our commitment to delivering value to our shareholders in a challenging business environment," said Michael Bonsignore, Honeywell chairman and chief executive officer. "It also reflects our confidence in the company's long-term prospects, and underscores the company's strong cash flow position."
 Honeywell has paid a quarterly dividend since 1932 and has increased the annual payout per share in each of the last 18 years.
 The company had 133.1 million shares outstanding at the end of the third quarter. Honeywell stock closed Friday at $32.125
