HONEY HILL FARMS FROZEN YOGURT MIX RECALLED
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The California

Department of Food and Agriculture announced today that Honey Hill Farms frozen yogurt mix manufactured at the Sacramento plant is being recalled as a precautionary measure.
The products are soft serve frozen yogurt with code dates March 11, 12, 14 and 18.
The yogurt mix was distributed in California, Oregon and Washington.
The problem was discovered during a routine check of the Sacramento plant by CDFA's Milk and Dairy Control Branch inspectors because the pasteurization recorder-controller device was not functioning properly and some of the frozen yogurt mix manufactured may not have been properly pasteurized.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the product.
The company has assured CDFA that 90 percent of the product has been taken out of distribution. Nearly all of the product was at warehouse or distribution level and is being returned to the company's Sacramento or Los Angeles plants.
The plant has been closed and the company is cooperating fully with CDFA's Milk and Dairy Food Specialists to correct the problem.
