HONDA CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF MANUFACTURING AUTOMOBILES IN AMERICA; 2.78 MILLION ACCORDS AND CIVICS PRODUCED IN U.S. SINCE 1982
 As Honda celebrates its 10th anniversary of manufacturing automobiles in America, the U.S.-made Accord has gained recognition for its pioneering efforts in America. These efforts extend beyond the relationship Honda has developed with its customers. Since 1982, Honda has invested $3 billion in the United States, including the creation of more than 10,000 manufacturing jobs and support of more than 240 U.S. suppliers.
 WHAT: A media briefing on Honda's 10th anniversary of manufacturing cars in the United States. Honda executives, suppliers, dealers and auto industry analysts will deliver a brief presentation on Honda's role in the U.S. auto industry over the past 10 years. A reception will immediately follow. Three generations of U.S.-made Honda Accords and all U.S.-made 1993 Honda autos will be displayed at the event.
 WHERE: The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Mich., which features the first Honda Accord made in America in an exhibit called "The Automobile in American Life."
 WHEN: Nov. 10, 6:30 to 9 p.m.
 WHY: During Honda's 10 years of auto production in the U.S., Americans have embraced the Accord as an American-made car, as indicated by the Accord's best-selling status for the past four years.
