HOMEDCO LANDS TWO-YEAR CONTRACT WITHKAISER PERMANENTE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

 FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Homedco Group Inc. (NASDAQ: HOME) today announced that it has signed a two-year contract with Kaiser Permanente in Northern California, effective Jan. 1, 1994. Homedco was the one regional vendor in conjunction with 13 local vendors selected to provide home medical equipment and home oxygen/respiratory equipment for patients in Kaiser's Northern California Foundation Hospitals and Medical Offices. Kaiser is the largest managed care organization in California.

A group practice prepayment program, Kaiser serves the health care needs of over 6.5 million enrollees in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, Washington and District of Columbia.
