ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Home Shopping Network, Inc. (NYSE: HSN) announced today the appointments of Peter M. Kern, Kevin J. McKeon, Nory LeBrun and Brian J. Feldman to top management posts.
Kern has been appointed senior vice president, strategic development and corporate finance; McKeon has been named senior vice president, accounting and finance; LeBrun has been selected executive vice president, affiliate sales and marketing; and Feldman has been chosen as controller.
 Peter M. Kern
Kern came to HSN in March, 1993 and has served as the company's vice president of strategic development and assistant to the CEO. Before assuming his posts at HSN, he was vice president of corporate finance and strategic development for Whittle Communications, L.P. Prior to that, he was with the investment banking group of Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc. in New York.
 Kevin J. McKeon
McKeon was appointed controller of HSN in July, 1992 and was executive director of finance prior to that. He has served in various other capacities in HSN's finance department as well. Prior to coming to HSN, McKeon spent more than seven years with the accounting firms of Grant Thorton and Laventhol and Horwath.
 Nory LeBrun
LeBrun began his career in broadcasting in 1969 and has been involved in the communications industry his entire professional life. He served as a vice president and officer at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. from 1981 until 1985. After he left Turner, LeBrun formed his own cable and network-affiliated broadcast consulting firm and owned and operated two television stations in Mississippi and Alabama. Immediately before coming to HSN, LeBrun served as a consultant and then senior vice president for the newly launched TV Food Network.

Brian J. Feldman
Feldman has been with HSN's finance department since 1989, serving in various financial roles until he attained the post of deputy controller. From 1984 until he joined HSN, he was an audit supervisor with the accounting firm, Grant Thorton. Prior to that, he served as an internal auditor with J. C. Penney.
With the appointments of Kern, McKeon, LeBrun and Feldman, Gerald F. Hogan, president and chief executive officer, continues the reshaping of HSN's management team begun last spring. He said, "I'm confident that Peter, Kevin, Nory and Brian will offer fresh insights and renewed vitality to HSN's management team. They have already demonstrated outstanding career performance, and I expect them to make significant contributions as we take HSN forward."
HSN's finance department has been under the leadership of Les R. Wandler since 1987. He has resigned from the company but will continue serving as a consultant. The affiliate marketing staff has been led by Alan H. Gerson since 1991. Gerson announced his resignation from HSN in late November, citing plans to pursue other career interests. Both resignations are effective Jan. 1, 1994.
Hogan said, "Les has served well during his six-year career with HSN. His hard work and constant dedication to the company are greatly admired and appreciated. Alan has made meaningful contributions to HSN in a number of areas, especially in affiliate marketing and government relations. I wish Les and Alan the best of luck and success in their future endeavors."
