 HOME SHOPPING CLUB AND BONZ TEAM FOR MARKETING PROMOTION
 ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Home Shopping Club subsidiary of Home Shopping Network, Inc. (NYSE: HSN) and BONZ, a division of Ralston Purina, have united in a marketing campaign which rolled out this month.
 The partnership involves placing Home Shopping Club coupons worth $10 on back panels of about two million packages of BONZ distributed nationwide. BONZ, a snack shaped like a steak bone, is a leading seller among edibles for dogs. The coupons entitle shoppers to save $10 on Home Shopping Club purchases. The front portion of BONZ packages feature eye-catching graphics designed to attract customers to back-panel coupons.
 Alan Gerson, executive vice president of marketing at HSN, said, "We are pleased to be aligned with Ralston Purina. Home Shopping already has a customer base of pet owners. We believe the BONZ promotion will expand that base and encourage even more consumers to shop for Club bargains. And when they do , we are confident they will become satisfied, confirmed Club members."
 Home Shopping Club airs in approximately two-thirds of all television households in the United States. BONZ can be found in 89 percent of all major grocery stores in the nation.
 Marketing executives at BONZ say they value their customers and are pleased to be able to offer them Home Shopping Club coupons. Home Shopping's wide television household coverage and BONZ' tremendous store shelf availability are considered key elements in the promotion, they said.
 Home Shopping has enjoyed successful cooperative marketing ventures with Maxwell House, Sara Lee, Glass Mates, Family Circle Magazine, People Magazine and all major credit card companies.
