HOME NUTRITIONAL SERVICES, INC. ANNOUNCES NEW VICE PRESIDENT FINANCE AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

 ATLANTA, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Home Nutritional Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: HNSI) announced the addition of Richard S. Turner as the company's new vice president Finance and chief financial officer.
 Turner joins HNS effective Nov. 1.
 Turner has extensive experience in the home and alternate site infusion therapy industry. Prior to joining HNS, Turner held the positions of senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Medical Care America, Inc. (MCA) and chief financial officer of Critical Care America, Inc. (CCA) at the time of its acquisition by MCA. Turner rejoins the Healthdyne organization, having served as Healthdyne's vice president Finance and chief financial officer in the mid-1980s. Healthdyne (NASDAQ: HDYN) owns 68 percent of Home Nutritional Services' common stock.
 John W. Anderson, president and chief executive officer, in announcing Turner's joining HNS, stated: "The demands on this position at HNS, in light of the new health care environment, will be many. We needed someone of high caliber and solid experience to fill this role and Richard Turner certainly meets these criteria."
 In accepting his new position, Turner stated, "My prior knowledge of HNS and my infusion industry experience should allow me to make an immediate impact in assisting HNS in strengthening its leadership role in the home infusion therapy industry."
 Turner and his wife and children have relocated from Dallas to Marietta, Ga. Turner earned his bachelor's degree from Georgia State University and currently holds memberships in the Georgia Society of CPAs, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives Institute.
