HOLLANDER'S OPUS; THE COMPANY BRINGS FUN TO THE BEDROOM WITH ITS LATEST COLLECTION OF WORK.

BOCA RATON, Fla.-Hollander Home Fashions' new down-alternative comforter is just part of the fun the company is bringing to next week's textiles market.

The Wooly Bully, in a 233-thread-count cotton shell, is filled with 100 percent New Zealand lambswool that is hypoallergenic and machine-washable.

"This is a very exciting product and a perfect bridge between our down and down-alternative categories," said David Stewart, senior vice president for naturals and duvets.

The Wooly Bully's innovative vinyl packaging with a whimsical logo and an aggressive price point of $79.99 on a twin promises to add a lot of drama to the comforter category, said Stewart.

In the pillow division, Hollander is introducing Peachy pillows, body pillows and Cuddlerolls in youth-inspired patterns from Bandana and Camouflage to Funky Flowers and the polka-dotted Twister. Cuddlerolls and body pillows will include jersey knit in cable and quilted square patterns, and a new line of novelty body pillows in T-shirt shapes, along with the outlines of planes, trucks and cars.

Juvenile collections range from Todd Parr's Best Friends design in primary brights to Simply Divine, a psychedelic pattern with paint splatters and teen phrases. Teen patterns run the gamut from the soft shades of the Pucci-inspired Pixie Chicks collection to vibrant stripes in Horizon and folkloric flowers on a deep purple background in Nadia. Building on the success of its color and pattern story, Hollander will add eggplant to its solid line, and three plaid colorways in its 233-thread-count cambric comforter collection. New patterns include a jacquard look called Baroque and a 320-thread-count rayon/cotton blend stripe that resembles silk.

Top-of-the-bed introductions include 100 percent cotton sateen sheeting in 200- to 310-thread-count weaves, and a new Broadway collection that includes jacquard comforters offered in sets with decorative pillows.
