HOLLAND AMERICA LINE OFFERS SEATTLE TRAVELERS SPECIAL STANDBY FARES FOR SEVEN-DAY ALASKA LUXURY CRUISES STARTING AT JUST $799 PER PERSON
 SEATTLE, May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Holland America Line's special "Seattle Standby Program" offers local residents who can travel on short notice the opportunity to take a seven-day Alaska Inside Passage or Glacier Route cruise with fares starting at just $799 per person, double occupancy, the company announced today.
 This special program applies to the May 17 sailing of the ss Rotterdam, the May 19 sailing of the ms Noordam, and the May 21 sailing of the ms Nieuw Amsterdam only.
 To participate in the standby program, travelers need only fill out a standby application form obtained from any local travel agent.
 The standby program applies to the Nieuw Amsterdam's and Noordam's seven-day roundtrip Inside Passage cruise from Vancouver visiting Ketchikan, Juneau, Glacier Bay National Park and Sitka. The program also applies to the Rotterdam's seven-day Glacier Route cruise between Vancouver and Seward, Alaska. The Rotterdam visits Ketchikan, Juneau, Sitka, Hubbard Glacier, Valdez, Columbia Glacier and College Fjord.
 Double occupancy standby fares for either the Inside Passage or the Glacier Route cruise start at just $799 for an inside stateroom, $999 for an outside stateroom and $1,199 for a deluxe stateroom. For the Glacier Route cruise, the fares include motorcoach transportation between Seward and Anchorage. Low-cost air transportation between Anchorage and Seattle is available through travel agents.
 Motorcoach transportation between Seattle and Vancouver is available for $39 per person one way; $78 per person roundtrip.
