HOGGYWOOD; Gwyneth's villa near pig farm.
Byline: GERARD COUZENS in MadridTHIS is the remote spot where Gwyneth Paltrow will build a hideaway mansion...and have 4,500 pigs as neighbours.
The pregnant Hollywood star was given the five-acre plot as a Christmas present by a couple she has known since childhood.
But it is right next to their pig farm near the village of Buenaventura in central Spain. It was a gift from Jesus Lazaro and his wife Julia, who Gwyneth first met as a 15-year-old on a language exchange with their son.
Mum-of-four Julia said: "We treat Gwyneth as we do our own daughters. We decided to give each child a plot of land to do what they wanted with it. It's idyllic. She'll be happy here."
An insider added: "The smell of the pigs can be overpowering. But Gwyneth is a regular visitor and I expect she'll be used to it by now."
Gwyneth is so close to Jesus and Julia she calls them mum and dad. The couple, who have a pounds 2million home near the farm, call her Winnie.
The actress plans to build a villa on the plot - 20 miles from the nearest city of Talavera de la Reina - so she and Coldplay singer husband Chris Martin can relax during breaks.
The insider said: "They are hoping to start work on the site as soon as possible."
