 MEDICINE TO HELP FLORIDA RECOVERY
SOMERVILLE, N.J., Sept. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Hoechst-Roussel Pharmaceuticals Inc. shipped nearly $200,000 worth of prescription medications to four Miami-area hospitals on Monday, August 31, to help restock declining supplies of critical drugs in the wake of Hurricane Andrew. The shipments arrived on Tuesday at Baptist Hospital, South Miami Hospital, South Miami Homestead Hospital and Miami Children's Hospital.
"Hoechst-Roussel recognizes that the Miami area is experiencing a critical shortage of medicine and wants to help make sure that vital prescription medicines are available to those who need them," said Dr. Victor J. Bauer, president of Hoechst-Roussel Pharmaceuticals Inc.
