 CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Hoechst Celanese Specialty


Chemicals Group Surfactants business has announced a price increase in all off-schedule pricing for the Genapol Primary Alcohol Ethoxylates product line sold under the 24-L and 26-L names, effective July 1, 1992.
 Products containing less than three moles of ethylene oxide will increase by six cents per pound, from three to six moles by five cents per pound, and greater than six moles of ethylene oxide by four cents a pound. All list pricing remains unchanged.
 Hoechst Celanese Specialty Chemicals' other products are used in a wide range of industries, including textile, pulp and paper, polishes, printing. Its textile dyes and other specialty chemicals have many applications in the apparel, metalworking, cosmetics, detergent, oil-drilling, fiber, paper, coatings, adhesive, plywood, paint, plastic, lubricant, pharmaceutical and surfactants businesses. Hoechst Celanese Specialty Chemicals operates domestic plants in Mt. Holly, NC, Portsmouth, VA, Coventry, RI, Bucks, AL, Kalama, WA, Leeds, SC, and a facility at Bishop, TX. The Specialty Chemicals Group is located in Charlotte, NC, at the Vanguard Centre.
