DURHAM, N.C., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Hock Development Corporation, a full service real estate development company, leased 67,000 square feet of office space to Qualex Inc. to be used as its national headquarters, it was announced today by Bill Newsome, chief financial officer of Hock Development Corporation. Qualex will fully occupy the space at 3404 North Duke St. by Sept. 10, 1993.
The new Qualex space is the former site of The Reliance Company's regional offices, which relocated to another building on the 275,000 square foot Hock campus of upscale office space.
"We're very pleased to have a company of Qualex's stature moving its headquarters into this building," said Gary Hock, president of Hock Development Corporation. "Their addition brings added prestige to our campus."

"We're delighted to finally have all our senior officers in one location. Up until now, we were spread across the country."
"Working with Gary Hock and Hock Development has been a great experience," stated James Hewitt, senior vice president for Human Resources and Administration at Qualex. "Everyone has been very accommodating and helpful in facilitating the move. We believe this move is good for our company, good for the employees, and good for Durham."
