HMSHost wins Shannon Airport contract.


Airport shopping and dining company HMSHost has been awarded a contract to redevelop and operate the food and beverage concessions at Shannon Airport in Ireland.

The company said that the 12-year contract, won in a competitive tender process, is the first for HMSHost in Shannon and in addition to the renovation of all food and beverage outlets, it also includes a convenience retail store. The first remodelled outlet is scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2007.

No financial details have been disclosed.
