HMC receives Rs.3.3 million medical equipment.

PESHAWAR -- Poverty Eradication Initiative provided medical supplies worth Rs. 3.3 million to Hayatabad Medical Complex on Friday.
A ceremony in this regard was held at Hayatabad Medical Complex. The Medical, Surgical supplies/consumables and Equipments worth Rs. 3.3 Million were shown and handed over to the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mumtaz Ali Marwat by the Public Health Coordinator, PEI Dr. Bilal Khan along with Coordinator PEI, Khan Sahib.
PEI Officials said that the donation of the medical supplies to the primary, secondary and tertiary care hospitals is the part of the PEI efforts to provide enough support to the government to save the precious lives of the critical patients.
On this occasion the CEO HMC Peshawar appreciated the contribution of PEI for poor patients and KP people.
The Program was started by PEI's Executive Director, Mr. Shahid Yousaf. His vision behind this program is to support the KP government and work for betterment of the people. PEI has already signed a Collaborative Grant Agreements with the Governments of Baluchistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA in health, education and social welfare sector to uplift Health and Education services and standards. PEI assistance is worth six billion rupees in the next 4 years to provide relief and assistance to improve medical service standards in the government health facilities for the benefit of poor patients.
