HM issues five Royal Decrees.

MUSCAT | His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has issued five Royal Decrees as follows:

Royal Decree No. 17/2010 Promulgating authorisation and jurisdictions solutions law

Article One: The provisions shall be enforced with respect to authorisation and jurisdictions solutions law.

Article Two: Cancels text of Article (14) of the Explanatory and General Texts Law No. 3 for 1973 and text of Article (15) of the StateEoe1/4aos Administrative Apparatus Regularisation Law issued under Royal Decree No. 26/75 and all that contradict the attached law or contravene with its provisions.

Article Three: The decree takes effect from the day following its date of publishing.

Royal Decree No. 18/2010 Determining the Ibri-Al Draiz-Maskan Dual Carriage Road as a Public Utility Project.

Article One: Determines Ibri-Al Draiz-Maskan Dual Carriage Road, specified in the attached Memorandum and Comprehensive Diagram as a Public Utility Project.

Article Two: The competent authorities shall expropriate by direct implementation all the properties and lands needed for the project and installations in accordance with the provisions of the Public Utility Expropriation law.

Article Three: The decree takes effect from its date of issue. Royal Decree No. 19/2010 Determining Bidbid-Sur Dual Carriage Road as a Public Utility Project.

Article One: Determines Bidbid-Sur Dual Carriage Road specified in the attached Memorandum and the Comprehensive Diagram as a Public Utility Project.

Article Two: The competent authority shall expropriate by direct implementation the properties and land needed for the project and installations in accordance with the provisions of the Public Utility Expropriation Law.

Article Three: The decree takes effect from its date of issue.

Royal Decree No. 20/2010 Ratifying the Agreement on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and Tax Evasion on Income Tax between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Croatia.

Article One: Ratifies the aforesaid agreement.

Article Two: The decree takes effect from its date of issue.

Royal Decree No. 21/2010 amending the Technical Job Classification Law at the Legal Affairs Ministry and Specifying the Financial Allocations for their holders.

Article One: Replaces the text of Article (14) of the Technical job Classification law at the Legal Affairs Ministry and specifying the Financial Allocations for their holders with the following text:

Eoe1/4EoHolders of the posts stipulated in Article (2) of this law are prohibited to be involved in advocacy or businesses and any practice that contradicts with requisites of these postsEoe1/4A[yen].

Article Two: The decree takes effect from its date of issue.
