HM King's support to ISESCO hailed.

Riyadh, May 12 (BNA): The Islamic, Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO)'s newly-elected General Director Dr. Salim bin Mohamed Al Malik has expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his continuous support to, and Bahrain's longstanding cooperation with, the organization.

This came on the side-lines of the ISESCO's extraordinary session hosted in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He said that Bahrain-based Regional Centre for Information and Communication Technology operating under the organization's supervision is an important centre in the field of training on modern technologies and artificial intelligence and that the organization will support it in everyway possible.

Al Malik was elected by majority of the participating Member States to complete the term of his predecessor and to a full new term according to the proposal tabled by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
