HKNet Becomes First to Launch GRIC Mobile Office Solution in Hong Kong.

HKNet, a subsidiary of NTT Group, and GRIC Communications (Nasdaq:GRIC), today announced that HKNet has expressed its intention to become the first service provider to introduce the new GRIC Mobile Office solution.. Leveraging the world's largest remote access network, the GRIC Mobile Office delivers applications that enable secure interaction and collaboration, across geographies and platforms, and provides businesses with increased productivity and immediate cost savings.

According to IDC, by 2006 more than 130 million corporate users will be working outside the office at least part of the time. GRIC's new Mobile Office solution addresses the specific needs of this growing population with the following features:
-- GRIC MobileOffice(TM) Client, a streamlined client that incorporates access
with applications and provisioning tools

-- GRIC TierOne Network(TM), access to the world's largest remote access
network

-- GRIC Meeting(TM), an online collaboration service powered by WebEx

-- GRIC Remote End Point Security Service(TM), integrated support of VPN
solutions from Nortel Networks, Cisco Systems, and Microsoft combined with
intrusion detection, firewall and auto-teardown functionality from Internet
Security System (ISS).
