HITEC delegation visits NBF.

ISLAMABAD -- Faculty members of Heavy Industries Taxila Education City (HITEC) Thursday visited different sections of National Book Foundation (NBF) and expressed keen interest in book promotional schemes of the foundation.

The delegation visited National Book Museum, Koocha-i-Kitab, Ibn-i-Khaldoon Corner, Nizami Ganjvi Corner, Gosha-i-Hafiz Shirazi, Walll of Honour, My book Shelve , National Book Park and NBF Book Shop, said a news release issued here.

An official of NBF, Dr. Attash Durrani briefed the delegation about the performance, educational and literary activities and book publication of the foundation and its role in promotion of book reading culture. He also briefed the members of delegation about different stages of books publication of NBF.

The delegation appreciated the efforts of Managing Director, NBF, Dr. Inam ul Haq Javed for his innovative schemes for inculcating book reading habit among the youth.

They expressed interest in knowing about Readers Club Scheme and other programmes of NBF.
