PRODUCT LINE TO INCLUDE SUPERCONDUCTIVE SYSTEMS
TWINSBURG, Ohio, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Hitachi Medical Systems America, Inc. announced today that it will introduce two new superconductive MRI systems in the United States. The two new systems, the MRH-1500 and MRH-500, will be on display at the 1991 Radiological Society of North America Conference. Planned availability is late 1992, after completion of the Food and Drug Administration 510(K) Market Clearance process.
The MRH-1500 is a 1.5 Tesla superconductive system which features high-quality imaging and throughput as well as access to future MR applications such as ultrafast imaging and spectroscopy. In addition, the MRH-1500 has been designed to provide compact siting and operating cost efficiency. The system can be sited in a space as little as 650 square feet.
