HIT MOVIE 'THE LAWNMOWER MAN' COMING TO CD-ROM MARKETPLACE; PC AND MAC TITLE TO BE AVAILABLE FOURTH QUARTER '93

 LOS ANGELES, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The critically acclaimed movie "The Lawnmower Man" will soon be available for at-home game play entertainment as a multimedia CD-ROM title. Coinciding with the eagerly awaited early-1994 film sequel, "The Lawnmower Man II," "The Lawnmower Man" CD-ROM title will be published by The Sales Curve under its S.T.O.R.M. label and distributed in the United States on PC and Mac by Sony Electronic Publishing in the fourth quarter of 1993.
 "The Lawnmower Man" CD game will incorporate more than 30 levels covering varied gamestyles: puzzles, "cinematic" and fly-through. The game will include high-quality original footage from the film, a realistic and detailed 3D-modeled virtual reality world, full sampled sound (music and FX) from the film and 360-degree panning, all of which will position "The Lawnmower Man" as one of the preeminent interactive CD-ROM multimedia game titles.
 The Sales Curve, a prominent United Kingdom-based developer and publisher of computer software, video games and multimedia products, will publish "The Lawnmower Man" game title in close association with Allied Vision, the producers of the motion picture. "The Lawnmower Man" CD game is an excellent example of the growing synergy between the movie and software industries.
 Sony Electronic Publishing Co., a demonstrated leader in the marriage of Hollywood and multimedia technology and a leading publisher and distributor of video games and CD-ROM products, will publish later this year the video games "Bram Stoker's Dracula," "Cliffhanger" and "Last Action Hero."
 The Sales Curve, which was founded in 1988, develops computer and video game software for Nintendo, Sega, PC, Macintosh, Phillips CD-I and Amiga platforms. The company is located in London.
