HILL AND KNOWLTON NAMES DICK BRODRICK SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

 LOS ANGELES, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard Brodrick, a veteran financial communications executive, has been promoted to senior vice president at Hill and Knowlton USA's Los Angeles office. Brodrick, formerly a vice president, continues in his role as head of the Financial Services Department of the Los Angeles office.
 "Dick is a veteran financial communications professional who has worked on Wall Street and in a number of senior corporate positions. We draw upon his wide range of experience in many different ways in our office," said Ron Hartwig, Hill and Knowlton executive vice president and general manager of the Los Angeles office and Hill and Knowlton's western region.
 Before joining Hill and Knowlton in 1983, Brodrick was a senior partner at a major financial communications firm. Prior to that, he was director of communications for USM Corp. He has also served as director of financial relations for Trans World Airlines and as a senior executive at General Electric and at Paine, Webber, Jackson and Curtis on Wall Street.
 Brodrick was a founder of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and served as president and as a director of the organization. He is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America.
 Formerly an adjunct professor of communications at Pepperdine University, Brodrick holds a bachelor's degree from Columbia University.
 The Los Angeles and Irvine offices of Hill and Knowlton are part of a worldwide network of 60 offices in 28 countries, serving more than 1,000 clients.
