Tonight Live From Abbey Road, Channel 4, 12.10am It's a bit late admittedly but if you're on the way back in from the pub this music show makes an ideal alternative to Jools Holland. Tonight sees Gossip, Friendly Fires and Mars Volta in session.

Tomorrow Emma, BBC One Wales, 9pm The autumn's big period piece comes to an end as Emma (Romola Garai, pictured right) realises the time may have come for her to stop meddling in other people's affairs and find romance for herself.

Monday Restaurant in Your Home, BBC Two Wales, 8.30pm Professional "home-restaurateurs" Mike and Tina Pemberton help wannabe living room Escoffiers set up their front rooms as fine-dining establishments.

Tuesday The Force, Channel 4, 9pm In its third and final edition, this compelling documentary series lifts the lid on an arson investigation in Portsmouth.

Wednesday Britain's Best Brain, Five, 8pm This gameshow asks contestants to pit their memory, co-ordination and numeracy against one another to find who has the best brain in Britain.

Thursday Watchdog, BBC One Wales, 8pm Anne Robinson's show continues to keep rogue traders, cowboy builders and other crooked types on their toes. The Queen of Mean is guaranteed to be on fine form tonight.

Friday The Car Scrap Trap, ITV Wales 1, 8pm Thinking about trading your old jalopy in for that pounds 2,000 promised by the Government? Well, this programme might force you to think again. Is it a productive way to boost a flagging car industry or simply a waste of taxpayers' moolah?
