HIGHLAND & MINOR FIXTURES.

DARREN STRONG will be out to prove he is no sleeping policeman as Buckie Thistle try to stir their season.

The under-achieving champions will hope for a shut-out from Strong - despite the keeper having had little shut-eye.

The Jags' shotstopper will be on shift until 7am today for Grampian Police.

But with regular choice Kevin Main injured, Buckie boss Gregg Carrol has to field Strong against visiting Clach - the latest test of a tough campaign.

Strong said: "I'll nip home for a wee bit of sleep after coming off shift and be in fine form for the game. I'm just happy to my, be able to play my part as I feel we're due much better in the rest of the campaign.

"There is still a great spirit in the dressing room and everyone is working hard to turn it around. When it does, someone will take a punishment."
