HI HO SILVER FOR JACK AND DAN; DIVING.

BRITISH divers Jack Laugher and Dan Goodfellow secured their first major honour as a pair -- and sealed Team GB's place in the three-metre synchronised event at the 2020 Olympics.

Laugher (above) and Goodfellow landed silver at the World Championships in South Korea. The duo were in the gold medal position after four of the six routines before China fought back to secure the title.

GB scored 415.02 to hold off Mexico (413.94).

Laugher and Goodfellow only teamed up year after Chris Mears, who Laugher won Olympic gold alongside at Rio 2016, decided to take a break from the sport.
