HERTZ CLAIM MANAGEMENT SIGNS WORKER COMPENSATION CONTRACT WITH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA RAPID TRANSIT DISTRICT

 PARK RIDGE, N.J., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Hertz Claim Management (HCM), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hertz Corporation, today announced it has been awarded a multi-year contract to administer worker compensation claims for the Southern California Rapid Transit District (RTD).
 HCM, which will administer the claims out of its offices in Glendale, Calif., is to begin claim management immediately.
 HCM has over 25 offices nationwide and employs over 1,500 people. In its Southern California offices in Glendale and Pasadena, the company employs approximately 600.
 The Southern California RTD manages the largest surface transit network in the country, including bus and rail transportation.
 HCM is the 12th largest claims administrator in the country. In the last year it managed approximately a billion dollars in claims. HCM maintains headquarters in Park Ridge.
