 HELLER ANNOUNCES NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM
 FOR LEVERAGED FUNDING GROUP'S SOUTHEAST DIVISION
 ATLANTA, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Heller Financial, Inc.'s Leveraged Funding Group is pleased to announce Mark Abbott has been appointed executive vice president and division manager of the Southeast Division. Abbott had previously been a senior manager responsible for new business development for the Group's Midwest Division. Joining him in Atlanta will be Dennis Robleski. Robleski will be involved in the Southeast's Division's new business development efforts as senior vice president and underwriting manager. He previously served in this capacity in the Midwest Division.
 These organizational changes reflect Heller's commitment to building upon its presence in the southeast region. Nationally, the Leveraged Funding Group is one of the most active providers of senior and mezzanine financing to the middle market. In 1992, it will provide more than $1 billion of new loans to facilitate acquisitions, recapitalizations, and refinancings.
 Abbott has been the Leveraged Funding Group's most active marketing representative over the past two years, closing 10 transactions. Prior to joining Heller in 1989, he was a vice president with Continental Bank's equity investment unit, where he focused on investing in leveraged transactions. During his tenure at Continental Bank, Abbott also served in the bank's leveraged funding unit as well as its oil and gas loan workout team. He graduated with honors from the University of Illinois.
 Robleski joined Heller in 1983 and has held positions of increasing responsibility within the Midwest Division of the Leveraged Funding Group. These positions have included assignments in the Division's Portfolio Management, Underwriting, and Finance areas. He has served as Underwriting Manager in the Midwest Division for the past two years. Robleski graduated from Western Michigan University and received his MBA from Keller Graduate School.
