HELEN MOSSLER NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, TALENT AND CASTING, FOR PARAMOUNT NETWORK TELEVISION

 HOLLYWOOD, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Helen Mossler has been named senior vice president of talent and casting for Paramount Network Television, it was announced by Garry Hart, president of the division. Mossler is promoted from her previous position as vice president of talent and casting.
 In her new capacity, Mossler will oversee all casting activity for the division's productions, including pilots, series, telefilms and special projects as well as continuing to occasionally cast pilots and telefilms.
 In making the announcement, Hart commented, "This well-deserved promotion recognizes Helen's expertise and experience in the casting arena. She is an invaluable member to the Paramount team."
 During her tenure at Paramount, Mossler has overseen the pilot casting of numerous top-rated series including "Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "Wings," "Frasier," "The Untouchables" and "Bob." She also cast the pilots of the long-running hit series "MacGyver" and, most recently, the new ABC comedy series "Sister, Sister." Additionally, Mossler served as casting director on such series as "Webster" and "Brothers."
 From 1979-83, Mossler was an independent casting director for numerous pilots and series including "Bosom Buddies," "Angie" and "Goodtime Girls." Her telefilm credits include "Emergency Room" and "Desperate Intruder."
 Mossler is a member of the Casting Society of America and was nominated for an Artios Award for casting the "Brothers" pilot.
