HECLA MINING CO. DECLARES NO DIVIDEND FOR 1991 COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho, Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- At its regular
quarterly board meeting today, the board of directors of Hecla Mining Co. (NYSE, PSE: HL) decided not to declare a cash dividend for 1991, Hecla said. Hecla is in the midst of an extensive underground exploration project at its Republic gold mine in northeast Washington state, and has a new open-pit gold mine under development in southcentral Idaho. The decision to declare no dividend in 1991 was made in order to conserve cash for these two promising projects.
