Current Liabilities Down by 27%; Total Shareholder Equity

MESA, Ariz., March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthTech International Inc. is pleased to announce a 760% increase to its revenues which totaled $1,154,112 during its first quarter ended December 31, 1995, as compared to $151,800 for the same period ended December 31, 1994. The Company's first quarter results also show a decrease of $1,360,982 to the Company's overall current liabilities and an increase of over $1,460,042 to total shareholder equity during the first quarter of fiscal year 1996 ended December 31, 1995. The reduction in current liabilities is due, in large part, to the satisfaction of $1,000,000 of a $1,500,000 note payable to FWY 405, Inc., a related party, through the issuance of restricted securities to FWY 405 Inc. by the Company.

Mr. Tim Williams, the Company's President, stated that he was pleased with these results and that he is confident that HealthTech will continue to make positive strides in improving its overall financial picture. "We have come a long way from just a year ago. I am confident that our shareholders will be happy with what we have in store for the Company this upcoming year. We are very motivated in increasing our size through acquisitions of health clubs and other health related companies."
