HEALTHSOURCE WINS ANTITRUST APPEAL

 CONCORD, N.H., March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Healthsource, Inc. (NYSE: HS) a leading managed health care company, announced that the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit has affirmed the judgement of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire in finding for Healthsource on all points in the antitrust litigation brought by U.S. Healthcare in March 1991.
 U.S. Healthcare brought suit against Healthsource and sought injunctive relief and treble damages for alleged antitrust and state law violations based on Healthsource's exclusivity option provision in its contractual arrangements with participating primary care physicians in New Hampshire. On Jan. 30, 1992 the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire rendered a decision in favor of Healthsource on all counts. In March 1992 U.S. Healthcare appealed to the United States Court of Appeals.
 Healthsource, Inc. sponsors and manages HMOs in New Hampshire, Maine, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Indiana and New York and owns EBPA, one of the largest third-party claims administrators in New England. Healthsource also provides utilization review services and preferred provider networks primarily to self-insured employer plans and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont.
