HE'S BEEN PADDY BACKED.

Byline: MICHAEL SCULLY

PADDY JACKSON has been backed to step up if called on to replace Jonny Sexton again on Saturday.

Jackson, 21, found his range for Ulster against Treviso on Friday night, scoring seven of the nine place-kicks he attempted in the 29-9 29 29 29 draw And in the 29-29 draw. And Les Kiss says it's a case of having to back him and Ian Madigan if Sexton doesn't recover from his hamstring injury in time.

"Am I expecting them to be perfect and to be able to handle everything at 100%? No, beb cause I do 'n't th th think because I don't think even an experienced guy would," said Ireland's assistant boss Kiss. "But if they're both there and Paddy's starting and Ian's on the bench, then we just have to back that they're going to deal with it and prepare them as well as possible."
