HE'S ANDRE ADFUL; EXCLUSIVE Peter booed off stage after just one song.

POPSTAR Peter Andre was booed off the stage - after playing just ONE song in an Irish nightclub.

Andre, 35, husband of glamour model Jordan, was the special guest at a student ball.

But the I'm A Celebrity star didn't go down well with local students who were partying as part of "fresher's week" at the Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Co Donegal.

Thursday's night show in the town's Pulse Nightclub got off to a terrible start when the sound system packed in during Andre's very first song Mysterious Girl. He tried to talk his way out of the trouble but that didn't go down too well either.

In a desperate attempt to rescue the appearance, Andre then attempted to sing without the aid of backing music but was booed throughout.

He eventually walked off the stage in a huff.

Despite the disaster, it is still believed Andre received his reported EUR7,000 appearance fee. A spokesman for the nightclub admitted: "We did encounter some technical difficulties which were out of our control."

Many fans turned up at the club following a rumour that Andre's wife Jordan, 30, would also be making an appearance. Leaflets advertising the night said "Peter Andre plus one" would be appearing leading many to think the former topless model would also show up.

One fan who attended the gig described it as "cringeworthy" and said: "It was an absolute disaster from start to finish. To be honest I'm not sure why they booked an act like Peter Andre in the first place.

"The nightclub certainly wasn't full by any means. Most of the people who turned up did so because they thought Jordan was going to be there as well.

"He said the crowd was great but the sound system was crap, there was lots of booing going on. He did Mysterious Girl was the sounds was still crap.

"He tried to laugh it off and sing a capella while they were trying to sort out the sound but he then left to lots of booing. He was only on stage for about 15 minutes."

Another student said: "The crowd were getting very annoyed. It was getting really embarrassing for him,"
