HCPro acquires Contemporary Long Term Care.

MARBLEHEAD, Mass. -- HCPro, Inc. has continued its expansion into the long-term care information delivery sector by acquiring Contemporary Long Term Care (CLTC) magazine and related products from HealthNet Information Services.

This is HCPro's first acquisition of 2006, after completing six publishing acquisitions in 2005.

"The Contemporary Long Term Care brand," said HCPro CEO Bruce Guzowski, "has a well-established history and reputation within the long-term care industry. This acquisition allows HCPro to offer its award-winning training and information resources to CLTC's loyal readers, while significantly increasing our reach into this growing sector." Published since 1978, CLTC is the only trade publication in the long-term care industry to have won the coveted Jesse H. Neal Award for editorial excellence, which it has received five times.

HealthNet Information Services is a magazine publishing company based in Parsippany, NJ.

Guzowski added, "This acquisition solidifies HCPro as a major player in the long-term care publishing industry. The Contemporary Long Term Care brand dovetails with our current long-term care products and plans for aggressive growth in this market segment."

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Whitestone Communications represented the Seller on this transaction.
