HAZELTINE WINS BOEING CONTRACT TO PROVIDE COLOR DISPLAY SYSTEMS FOR NATO PROGRAM

 GREENLAWN, N.Y., April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Hazeltine Corporation has been selected by Boeing Defense Space Group to provide the Color Display Systems for the NATO MOD Block 1 Program. Under this contract, Hazeltine will upgrade the existing NATO E-3A aircraft fleet and mission simulators with color display and data processing capability as part of the alliance's overall Airborne Early Warning Modernization Program.
 Hazeltine has previously provided the same Color Display Upgrade to both the United States and Royal Saudi fleets of E-3A aircraft. To date, more than 600 Color Displays are operational in these aircraft.
 The Hazeltine Color Display System, operational since 1985, is specifically designed for the E-3A AWACS environment(s) and has proven its effectiveness in allowing the operator to efficiently manage large amounts of command and control data on a dense display.
