A FARM girl who hopes to become Scotland's next top model has revealed the secret to her stunning looks - farmyard muck.

Gorgeous Karen McCann aims to ditch her overalls and wellies for photoshoots to win an online model contest.

The 31-year-old, who spends her days tending cows, sheep and horses, is often found knee-deep in manure during her day job as a farmhand.

But her goal is to win glamour model contest Uber Girl UK and fulfil her dream of becoming a fulltime pin-up. Karen, of Auchinleck, Ayrshire, said: "Most people think farmer girls are big and butch but I want to change that perspective.

"A mud mask is definitely good for your complexion.

"And since I spend all day covered in the stuff, I think it has helped me with my looks.

"But I do spend days with my hands up sheep's bottoms and wearing wellies. I'm definitely not glamorous during the day - more of a plain Jane." She added that the prospect of having to pose for glamour shoots does not bother her.

She said: "I love Jordan, I'm a big fan. I would consider cosmetic surgery but I'll have to improve the bank balance before that happens."
