 HAUSER COMMUNICATIONS SIGNS EXCLUSIVE MSO PACT
 WITH DIGITAL MUSIC EXPRESS (DMX)
 LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Hauser Communications, a top-35 cable operator serving the Washington, D.C. area, has signed an exclusive, MSO-wide agreement with Digital Music Express(TM) (DMX(TM)), announced Jerry Maglio, president of DMX's residential division.
 According to Bob Gordon, vice president of programming for Hauser Communications, Hauser will launch DMX in its Montgomery County, Md., and Arlington, Va., systems beginning Oct. 1.
 "Our cable systems serve many discriminating customers including significant government and business leaders, all of whom have very high expectations. The introduction of DMX supports our desire to exceed our customers' high expectations by offering the preeminent music service."
 Gordon said that Hauser is committed to a high-profile marketing program with a heavy emphasis on demonstration opportunities that include the silent DMX-DJ(TM) in every presentation. "We are committed to exhausting all opportunities to encourage customers to experience this unique and valuable new product," said Gordon.
 "We're delighted that Hauser chose DMX and know their commitment will result in a great new source of revenue as well as satisfied customers," said DMX's Maglio. "The demographic base of their systems is ideal for DMX and gives the product a significant presence in the critical Washington, D.C. area."
 DMX, a service of International Cablecasting Technologies (NASDAQ: TUNE), provides 30 channels of CD-standard digital-audio programming for residential, commercial and international markets. Equity participants include: Tele-Communications Inc. (TCI), Scientific-Atlanta, Viacom, KBLCOM, Scripps Howard, Crown Media, Colony Communications and Shaw Cablesystems of Canada.
