HARTSFIELD NAMED BEST AIRPORT IN NORTH AMERICA

ATLANTA, Nov. 24 ~PRNewswire~ -- For the fourth consecutive year, Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport has been selected the Best Airport in North America by the readers of Business Traveller International Magazine.
Each year, the readers of Business Traveller International avidly give opinions on all aspects of business travel. This year Hartsfield was ranked Best by readers of both the USA and International editions.
Accepting the award for Atlanta Mayor Maynard Jackson, Assistant Commissioner Steven C. Baker noted that the award is "especially significant this year because it acknowledges the tremendous efforts of the Department of Aviation staff to provide safe and efficient airport facilities, despite the transitions that have occurred in the airport's management. As we continue to grow, we will not lose sight of the need to provide exceptional service to business travelers, and to leisure travelers as well. We appreciate this recognition as we progress toward our ultimate goal -- to be the best airport in the world."
The readership poll was conducted by an independent research company, Simmons Market Research Bureau.
